Please be in prayer for our missions team going to Stockport this Summer. Our mission and purpose of this trip is to assist partnering churches in outreach and evangelization in Stockport and surrounding areas. Stockport is primarily an under-engaged area with the Gospel.
- Local prayer walks (including praying for people on the street)
- Hosting BBQs in neighborhoods
- Meeting with and sharing the gospel with Iranian refugees
- Sharing the Gospel with people in cafés and in parks
- Hosting an outreach event for kids and parents in Edgeley Park, Stockport
- Operating a ‘prayer tent’ in a park
Friday, August 19 - Saturday, August 20- Travel to UK via JFK to Manchester Airport
- Meet host home and rest
- Briefly tour Stockport with host family or group
Sunday, August 21- Attend church of host family
- General meeting with group
- Dinner with Iranian Ministry
Monday, August 22 - Wednesday, August 24- Work in teams at various sites
- Walk Stockport & meet people
- Work on 1-2 projects/events flowing into evenings
Thursday, August 25- Free day to train to London & visit city
Friday, August 26- Gospel sharing in parks, streets, and café’s
- All Church partner evening event (BBQ party)
Saturday, August 27- Final outreach at local churches
- Tour of Manchester area
Sunday, August 28- Attend church
- Return flight at 3pm, arrive at JFK at 5pm (New York time)
