2023 Vacation Bible School

July 2023

Hello VBS Families!

I am so excited that you have chosen to have your child attend Vacation Bible School at Living Faith Christian Church! I am confident that they will have a STELLAR time and I am even more confident that they will experience the love of Christ through our family of faith while having SO much fun!! You may be wondering a few things, so I am sending this in hopes of helping to answer any pre-VBS questions you may have!

  • Vacation Bible School (VBS) runs from Monday July 10th through Friday, July 14th 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
  • Drop off for children is 9:15 AM (Tuesday through Friday) and pick up is at 12:30 PM each day. On Monday, the first day, please arrive at 9:00 AM so that you can receive important information.
  • On Monday, July 10, 2023, when you arrive at 9:00, you will receive a packet for your child. The packets will be distributed outside the church (under the breezeway) before you enter the church building.
  • You will receive a packet for each child you registered, which will contain many special items, including their crew assignment and name tag!
  • Each day for the rest of the week, place the name tag on your child/children before they enter the building.
  • Packet distribution will begin at 9:00 AM. The doors will open to the sanctuary for drop off at 9:15 AM.
  • If you know of another child who has not yet registered, but would like to attend VBS, please know that they may register on Monday at the church! Just have the parent see one of our trained, loving registration volunteers for assistance.

Other Important Items:

  • Send your child/ren with comfortable clothes and shoes; we are active at VBS!
  • Please apply any sunscreen that is needed before you drop off at VBS. We will not be applying it at VBS and the kids DO play outside weather permitting.
  • We do not recommend flip flops as they can cause injury when the kids are running around.
  • If your child has food allergies and you would like to bring their snack, please do so in a sealed plastic bag with their name written on it. Your crew leader will hold until snack time and then make sure that is the only snack your child eats. Otherwise, we will have snacks every day and will do our best to accommodate any food allergies.
  • Lastly, feel free to have your child bring a water bottle. I suggest putting their name on it in case it gets left behind anywhere!

I look forward to our week together!
