Why Apologetics?
Today’s generations want answers. They want to know what truth is and how can they find it. They are very skeptical of people who claim to have the answers and want to know if they can back it up.
Apologetics is the way to show Christianity is reasonable, valid, and backed by the evidence. It can give skeptics the answers they need to make a heart-felt choice to follow Christ or not. With all the misinformation out on the internet we need to offer reasonable answers so people can see Christianity in a good light, and so they come to know Jesus. Apologetics is clearing the weeds so someone can see Jesus in a good light and decide to follow him or not.

Are the Gospels Reliable and Trustworthy?
One of the most important questions in defending the Christian faith is the reliability of the Gospels. Can we trust that the accounts of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection are accurate? The Gospels were written by eyewitnesses or by those closely associated with them, and their accounts have been historically validated by numerous manuscripts and external sources. In fact, the historical evidence supporting the Gospels’ authenticity is far greater than that for many ancient documents that are universally accepted as reliable. At the "Grounded" conference, you will not only explore the historical evidence for the Gospels but also learn how to confidently apply this knowledge in your own life. By understanding the Gospels as trustworthy narratives, you will be empowered to engage with skeptics, share your faith with clarity, and strengthen your own walk with Christ, knowing that the story of Jesus is rooted in truth, not myth.
How Can There Be a Loving God When There Is Suffering and Evil in Our World?
The problem of suffering and evil is one of the most difficult challenges to the Christian faith. How can a loving and all-powerful God allow pain, injustice, and tragedy? While this question doesn’t have simple answers, Christianity offers a perspective that no other worldview can match. The Bible acknowledges the reality of suffering, yet it teaches that God is present in our pain, having himself entered into human suffering through Jesus Christ. At "Grounded," you’ll learn not only how to address these challenging questions from a biblical and philosophical standpoint but also how to apply these truths in your daily life. Whether facing personal struggles, walking alongside others in pain, or navigating the suffering in the world, you will be equipped to respond with compassion, hope, and a deeper trust in a God who is both loving and just. By understanding the nature of God’s presence in suffering, you can find peace even in the midst of trials and confidently offer hope to others.
