MISSIONS

At Living Faith we take our Lord's command, found in Matthew 28:19, to "Go" into all the world, very seriously.

A proper response to this command is not to "pray about going" but to determine "where" he wants us to go. Our desire is to see believers respond in faith to the Lord’s marching orders and share Christ wherever they are found. We want them to discover new places where they can "Go" and share the life changing Gospel of Christ. We want every believer in Christ to know the joy of sharing their faith and to see people receive Christ as Savior.

As part of our Vision Plan we plan to train every believer to be able to competently share their faith and to boldly anticipate that the Lord will use them in delivering His offer of salvation to the world. Please pray with us for the fulfillment of this Biblical Vision which supports our Lord’s command to "Go".

Operation Christmas Child

On November 17, 2025, with the help of the Trail Life boys' ministry, we packed and delivered 590 boxes donated by Living Faith Christian Church to the local collection center. We are so grateful to God for surrounding us with such loving and giving people. Each of those boxes was prayed over and will be shipped to a child who would otherwise not receive a gift for Christmas. We have heard wonderful stories of how the lives of children were changed because they received a shoebox filled with toys, hope, and love.

Walk for Life Fundraiser

Support for Soundview Pregnancy

This Mother’s Day season, we celebrate the gift of life and honor the love, sacrifice, and courage of mothers. As Soundview Pregnancy prepares for their Walk for Life, we’re inviting LifeGroups and volunteers to help make this event a meaningful expression of compassion, hope, and support for women, children, and families in our community.

Will you consider walking with your group or volunteering as a way to honor mothers and support life?

LifeGroups are encouraged to sign up and walk together in support of this ministry. Each participant has a suggested fundraising goal of $350, with a free gift for those who reach it. Living Faith will also provide a group lunch for any group that raises at least $1,000 as a thank you.

We’re also looking for 10 volunteers to serve at the Walk on May 16th at Bethpage State Park. Let’s continue to be a light on Long Island!
