Operation Christmas Child
Boxes must be returned to Living faith
by Sunday, November 15, 2026
Since 1993, more than 244 million children in over 175 countries have felt God’s love through a simple shoebox gift from Operation Christmas Child. At Living Faith Christian Church, we’re honored to be part of this incredible ministry led by Samaritan’s Purse. By packing a shoebox with toys, school supplies, and personal items, we have the opportunity to share the hope and joy of Jesus with children around the world—many who may be hearing about His love for the very first time.
The Greatest Journey
"Seeking to follow Jesus’ command to 'make disciples of all the nations' (Matthew 28:19), we have trained over 2.6 million volunteers from these congregations to teach The Greatest Journey, our dynamic follow-up discipleship course for shoebox recipients. Since 2009, 52 million children have enrolled in this 12-lesson program to learn how to follow Christ and share Him with others. More than 27 million of these boys and girls have made a decision to accept Jesus as their Savior during the course. Many are now praying for and sharing their faith with family and friends. As a result of this ever-expanding witness, new churches are starting and communities are being transformed!"
how it works
Step 1: Pack a Shoebox
Pick up an empty shoebox from the Lobby at Living Faith Christian Church beginning on Sunday, October 25th. Fill it with fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. You can even include a personal note or a photo to connect on a deeper level.
Step 2: Pray Over your Box
Every shoebox is an opportunity to spread God’s love. Before dropping it off, take a moment to pray for the child who will receive it, that they may be blessed and know God’s love.
Step 3: Donate $10 per box
A donation of $10 per box is critical to cover evangelism materials, shipping, and other project costs. For easiest processing, you can give online here, or by mailing a check in the postage-paid envelope available in our printed brochure. Give online to Follow Your Box and discover the destination of your gift.
Step 4: Drop Off at Church
Bring your packed shoebox back to LFCC between November 1st and 15th, and we’ll handle the rest! We’ll ensure it gets to the nearest collection site and, ultimately, into the hands of a child who needs it.
Join us in building 300 shoeboxes online. Each $30 box includes gifts and shipping. Just a few minutes of your time can make an eternal impact.
