A letter from Edgar reyes, operations director
Dear Living Faith Family,
As we approach the close of another year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your faithful support and partnership with Living Faith. Your generosity and steadfast commitment have empowered us to fulfill our mission—Helping People Live By Faith In Jesus.
This year has been one of transition, growth, and meaningful outreach. Through our worship services—both in person and online—we’ve witnessed lives changed, families strengthened, and relationships deepened. None of this would be possible without your faithfulness and participation.
Late in 2024, we launched our Faith to Finish 3-Year Campaign, and nearly one year in, we’ve already received 39% of the commitments —our church family—so passionately made. This past September, we celebrated the opening of “The Village,” a creative transformation of our lower storage level into an Old Jerusalem-themed space for our Children’s Ministry. What a beautiful reminder of how your giving brings vision to life!
Looking ahead, we remain focused on the campaign’s goals: retiring our existing debt by the end of the campaign, investing in leadership development, and updating our atrium and sanctuary to better serve our growing congregation.
As we prepare for the opportunities and challenges that await in the coming year, we ask that you prayerfully continue your financial support. Your contributions to the General Fund sustain our ongoing ministries and empower us to expand our impact in our community and beyond.
Living Faith, as we continue walking through this season of faith and generosity together, we should be reminded that giving has never been just about meeting a need — it’s about shaping our hearts. Jesus said it so clearly: “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Every act of giving, every offering, every step of faith — these aren’t just transactions; they are transformations. Each one draws our hearts closer to God and deepens our trust in Him. Your year-end gift is more than a transaction. It’s an act of worship that transforms hearts — yours included.
The apostle Paul spoke of the believers in Macedonia, who gave even when they didn’t have much to give. What moved Paul wasn’t the size of their gift — it was the spirit behind it. Scripture tells us, “They gave themselves first to the Lord” (2 Corinthians 8:5). That’s where true generosity begins: in a heart that belongs fully to Him.
As we move forward in this season — whether through our regular giving, serving, or supporting the work God is doing through our ministries — let’s remember that it’s not about the amount, but the attitude. When we give ourselves first to the Lord, everything else flows naturally from that place of love, gratitude, and trust.
With the year drawing to a close, we also encourage you to consider year-end giving. All contributions made before December 31 are tax-deductible, allowing you to maximize your generosity while receiving potential tax benefits.
